Vitamin C has played important roles in our daily life. Without vitamin c bad thing can happened such as loses antibody or old fast. The benefits of vitamin C is not questionable anymore, there are plenty of benefits of vitamin C such as plays role in immune function, decrease allergic, lowering cholesterol. Vitamin C is also plays as antioxidant to fight free radical that can cause cell damage which is make us older. So indirectly vitamin C are also play important roles in our aging system. With enough vitamin C everyday makes us younger every single day.
But did you know too much vitamin C are also bad for human health. Overdose on vitamin C are always be avoided suggested by television and other ads. It happened when someone taking vitamin C as supplement and drink it more than Recommended Daily Allowance. Overdose on vitamin C can make serious problems and hold up metabolic activities in human body system. Common people always think overdose on vitamin C will be excrete through urine system and there are not side effects of it. This is absolutely wrong, and here are the facts!
First I will explain the categories of human’s needs of vitamin C which are smoking men needs 75 mg, non smoking men needs 110 mg, smoking women needs 90 mg and non smoking women needs 125 mg /day.
When someone taking more than 200 mg whether they are smoking or non smoking, that will be enough for increase into maximum lymphocytes and plasma levels.
The human body systems are very intelligence system. The body systems will takes enough of vitamin C and excrete the rest of waste vitamin C since vitamin C is a water soluble protein. But if human body system has a trouble in excrete system, they will get the symptoms such as stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea and the worst are kidney stones.
When overdose on vitamin C are too major, it will be disturbing the copper’s level in human body and reduce important nutrient. Small dose on vitamin C are possible make health problems if only the person have too much iron in their body or the person has iron disorder, because vitamin C will improve iron absorption into the human body system.
And for the elder people must carefully when consuming vitamin c supplement, since their kidney are very old to wash their blood with too much vitamin C.

The best ways to avoid overdose on vitamin c are eating vitamin C rich foods such as lemon fruit, orange, carrot, kiwi, etc. Of course besides vitamin c inside those fruits there are also other vitamin such as vitamin A and vitamin B.
