Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of vitamin D is usually always labeled on vitamins products. But sometimes vitamin D RDA on each label can be incorrect value and sometimes may confuse consumer who buy the products.

- Baby from 0-12 months should take 25 microgram / mcg (1000 IU per day)
- An infant and adults people should take 50 microgram / mcg 2000 IU per day twice from baby needs
- For the pregnant women should take 150 microgram / mcg or about 6000 IU per day
Recommended value of some nutrient should be consumed commonly base on 2000 diet calorie. But especially for daily intake vitamins and minerals are commonly build upon RDA standard.
